Here, we have to solve for the variable "N".

Let's take numbers to one side and the variable to another.

Remember, side change means sign change.

So,


\begin{gathered} -2N+3=8 \\ 3-8=2N \\ -5=2N \end{gathered}

Now, that we have it, we simply divide both sides by 2 to get the vlaue of "N",


\begin{gathered} -5=2N \\ N=-(5)/(2) \end{gathered}
