Given,

Frequency of the wave, f=4 Hz

The wavelength of the wave, λ=0.5 m

The speed of a wave is given by,


v=f\lambda

On substituting the known values in the above equation,


v=4*0.5=2\text{ m/s}

Therefore the speed of the standing wave produced is 2 m/s
