Given functions are:


\begin{gathered} f(x)=x+2 \\ g(x)=x-4 \end{gathered}

So:


\begin{gathered} f(x)* g(x)=(x+2)(x-4) \\ f(x)* g(x)=x^2-4x+2x-8 \\ f(x)* g(x)=x^2-2x-8 \end{gathered}
