Given data

*The distance covers by the pilot is d = 600 m

*The given time is t = 7.2 s

(1)

The formula for the speed is given as

s=(d)/(t)

Substitute the known values in the above expression as

\begin{gathered} s=(600)/(7.2) \\ =83.3\text{ m/s} \end{gathered}

Hence, the speed is s = 83.3 m/s

(2)

The speed converted into km/h as

\begin{gathered} s=83.3*((5)/(18)) \\ =299.88\text{ km/h} \end{gathered}

The second way to convert the speed into kilometer per hour as,

undefined
