Probability is the quantitative measure of the likelihood of the occurrence of an event.

It is mathematically expressed as:


P=\frac{number\text{ of selected outcome}}{number\text{ of total outcome}}

We can decide to call the set of numbers below 7 "A".

A = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}

|A| = 6

We call the universal set, the set containing all the numbers rollable "U"

|U| = 12
