There are four students working on a project in math class. Miguel has completed 1/8 of the project, Gina has completed 13% of the project, Jatziry has completed 0. 10 of the project, and Kwa has completed 1/9 of the project. Make a list of the students in order from least to greatest by the amount of the project they have completed.

There are a few methods to doing this, but lets make every number a fraction. (You could make them all percentages or decimals if you want, but it is more difficult in my opinion.)
Miguel: 1/8
Gina: 13/100
Jatziry: 10/100 = 1/10
Kwa: 1/9
Now we need to find the least common denominator, which is 1800.
Now you have these fractions:
Miguel: 225/1800
Gina: 234/1800
Jatziry: 180/1800
Kwa: 200/1800
Now you can easily list these in order

180/1800 < 200/1800 < 234/1800 < 225/1800
Jatziry < Kwa < Gina < Miguel

Sorry if I made any mistakes, I realized Jatziry was a part of the problem halfway through.
