Solution:

In the figure;


\begin{gathered} (EG)/(EF)=(ED)/(EC) \\ \\ EG=16.9,ED=27,EF=28.1 \end{gathered}

Thus;


\begin{gathered} (16.9)/(28.1)=(27)/(EC) \\ \\ EC=44.9 \end{gathered}

Thus;


\begin{gathered} FC=EC-EF \\ \\ FC=44.9-28.1 \\ \\ FC=16.8 \end{gathered}
