The magnitude of the acceleration is 4 m/s² and direction of the acceleration is rightward.

The time/velocity table is given for the car in the right direction.

Time interval (∆t )= 0.5s

Velocity interval (∆v) = 2m/s (right)

The acceleration of car is:

a = Δv/Δt = 2m/s / 0.5s = 4 m/s²

Since there is an acceleration, this is equal to the velocity hence rightward. Therefore, the magnitude of the acceleration is 4 m/s² and direction of the acceleration is rightward.
