A survey was taken that asked a total of 400 participants whether or not they were happy withtheir jobs. An overall score was given. 100 of the participants were unhappy while 300 of theparticipants were happy with their job.What percent were happy with their job?

To find the percent of happy people, we just have to divide the number of happy participants by the total number of them.


(300)/(400)=0.75

Then, we multiply it by 10 to express it as a percentage.


0.75\cdot10=75

Hence, 75% of the participants were happy with their job.
