A general equation of a parabola is:


y=ax^2\text{ + bx + c; the vertex of a parabola is the point (h,k) where h = -b/2a}

This way you find the value of h

Since h is a value of x, you can find the corresponing value of y by using the original equation:


y=ah^2\text{ + bh + c}

and this will be the value of K
