My first step is to draw a picture

We know that the length is 2 times the width

L = 2w

We are given a width of 4.6 yards

L = 2(4.6) = 9.2 yards

We can find the area by using the formula

A = l*w

A = 9.2 * 4.6

A =42.32 yd^2
