The inequality is:

3(x+4)-2\ge7

now we solve the inequality for x

\begin{gathered} 3(x+4)\ge7+2 \\ 3(x+4)\ge9 \\ x+4\ge(9)/(3) \\ x+4\ge3 \\ x\ge3-4 \\ x\ge-1 \end{gathered}

This means that all the number, from -1 to infinit are solution of the inequality, and the only option that is not a solution is a) -2
