we are given the following polynomial:

x^2+3-7x

The standard form of a polynomial is of the following form:

ax^n+bx^(n-1)+cx^(n-2)+\cdots+d

Rewriting the given polynomial we get:

x^2-7x+3

This is a trinomial because it has 3 terms.

Since the maximum exponent of the polynomial is 2, this is a quadratic polynomial.
