Given function,

f(x) = 6x - 6

or

y = 6x -6

The inverse of a function is calculated by replacing the values of x and y

therefore

Inverse (y = 6x - 6)

x = 6y - 6

x + 6 = 6y

6y = x + 6

y = x/6 + 6/6

y = 1/6*x + 1

or

g(x) = 1/6*x + 1

Hence, both are inverse of each other.
