To calculate the equation first we need to choose two points of the table

P1 (1,1)=(x1,y1)

P2(0,9)=(x2,y2)

then we calculated the slope m

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

substituting the points we have

m=(9-1)/(0-1)=(8)/(-1)=-8

then we can calculate the equation

(y-y1)=m(x-x1)
(y-1)=-8(x-1)

y-1=-8x+8

y=-8x+8+1

the equation is

y=-8x+9
