Let:

(x1,y1)=(2,-5)

(x2,y2)=(6,0)

The midpoint is given by:

\begin{gathered} xm=(x1+x2)/(2) \\ xm=(2+6)/(2) \\ xm=(8)/(2)=4 \\ ym=(-5+0)/(2)=-(5)/(2)=-2.5 \end{gathered}

Therefore the midpoint is:

M = (4 , -5/2) or M = (4, -2.5)
