Recall that the graph of the cosine function is:

Now, notice that the given graph is the above graph but with a midline


y=1,

and amplitude equal to 4. The frequency is also different.

Therefore, the equation of the function given in the graph is:


y=4cos((\pi)/(5)x)+1.

Answer:


y=4cos((\pi x)/(5))+1.
