Answer: y=-3/2x+13

Explanation:

(4,7) m=2/3

x,y m⊥=-3/2

7=-3/2(4)+b

7=-6+b

13=b

y=-3/2x+13

feel free to let me know if its wrong

Answer:

y = -3/2x + 13

Explanation:

In order for a line to be perpendicular, it must have an opposite reciprocal slope to the given line. In this instance, the opposite reciprocal of 2/3 would be -3/2. Insert the information given into the point-slope formula.

y-7=-(3)/(2)(x-4)\\\\y-7=-(3)/(2)x+6\\\\y=-(3)/(2)x+13
