the slope can be calculated using the next formula

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

where

(5,-14)=(x1,y1)

(-14,0)=(x2,y2)

then we substitute the values

m=(0+14)/(-14-5)=(14)/(-19)=-(14)/(19)

the answer is -14/19
