Each weight weighs 0.2 kilograms

If the class put 16 weights on the scale

Then the scale reading will be


\begin{gathered} 1\text{ weight -}\longrightarrow\text{ 0.2 kg} \\ 16\text{ weight -}\longrightarrow\text{ x} \\ x=16*0.2 \\ x=3.2\operatorname{kg} \end{gathered}

Hence the scale reading will be 3.2kg
