Radius

We know the radius is half of the diameter. Thus,

Radius 16 cm

Circumference

The formula is:


C=\pi D

Where

D is the diameter

So,


\begin{gathered} C=\pi D \\ C=(3.14)(32) \\ C=100.48 \end{gathered}

Circumference = 100.48 cm

Area

The formula is:


A=\pi r^2

Where

r is the radius

So,


\begin{gathered} A=\pi r^2 \\ A=(3.14)(16)^2 \\ A=(3.14)(256) \\ A=803.84 \end{gathered}

Area = 803.84 sq. cm.
