What are some methods social media influencers use to persuade followers?

I'm working on an essay ( five paragraphs) and I need help.

Influencers show themselves as rich and popular. When they are promoting things they target a certain demographic. Say that ur in middle school and like slime. They will start making more slime content. They know there target audience, they just need to reach them.

one method is that they are perceived as relatable. teens tend to be influenced by them because they see them as someone closer to them (age group, interests…)
