A ball is thrown in the air. It's height, h (in meters).is given by h = -4.91 +306 + 6 where is thetime (in seconds). What is the height of the ballafter 3 seconds?

The given equation-


-4.9t^2+30t+6

After three seconds, we evaluate for t = 3.


-4.9(3)^2+30(3)+6=-4.9(9)+90+6=-44.1+96=51.9

Therefore, the height after 3 seconds is 51.9 meters.
