Let's first calculate the lenght of the side of the rectangle.


l=\sqrt[]{8^2+5^2}=\sqrt[]{64+25}=\sqrt[]{89}

so we get that the dotted line is:


d=\sqrt[]{2^2+89}=\sqrt[]{93}

so the answer is square root of 93
