-5y+2x+7(x-y)+3

Expanding 7(x - y) in the above expression gives


-5y^{}+2x+7x-7y+3

adding the like terms (2x+ 7x) and (-5y-7y) gives


(-5y-7y)+(2x+7x)+3
\rightarrow\textcolor{#FF7968}{-12y+8x+3.}

The last expression is the simplest form we can convert our expression into.
