Let the length be x,

then the breadth will be
(1)/(4)x

Formula for area of rectangle:

length * breadth

using the formula:

x *
(1)/(4) x = 576

x² = 4(576)

x² = 2304

x = √2304

x = 48

Therefore the Length is 48 cm

Then the breadth
(1)/(4) * 48 = 12 cm
