Calculating the sine, cosine and tangent of the angle pi/6 (that is, 30°), we have that:


\begin{gathered} \sin ((\pi)/(6))=(1)/(2)_{} \\ \cos ((\pi)/(6))=\frac{\sqrt[]{3}}{2}_{} \\ \tan ((\pi)/(6))=(\sin((\pi)/(6)))/(\cos((\pi)/(6)))=\frac{(1)/(2)}{\frac{\sqrt[]{3}}{2}}=\frac{1}{\sqrt[]{3}}=\frac{\sqrt[]{3}}{3} \end{gathered}
