The marked diagram of the situation is shown in option D.

In quadrilateral ABCD, AB is congruent to CD and AB is parallel to CD. show that ABCD is a parallelogram

What is a parallelogram

A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with opposite sides that are both parallel and equal in length.

We can therefore say that a parallelogram is a special type of quadrilateral where opposite sides are both parallel and have the same length.

Also, opposite angles in a parallelogram are equal.

In the figures, option D is marked that side AB is equal and parallel to side CD. This is important, in showing that ABCD is a parallelogram

We have the following:

We can know when they are congruent, since being congruent they are equal sides.

By notation we know that " ' " means that they are the same, therefore

AB=DC

And the parallel lines are:

BA\parallel CD

Therefore, the answer is B.

In quadrilateral ABCD, AB is congruent to CD and AB is parallel to CD. show that ABCD is a parallelogram
