Answer

Volume = 0.5 L

Step-by-step explanation

Mass of NaOH = 26.0 g

Molarity = 1.3 M

Molar mass of NaOH = 39.997 g/mol

Volume = ?

The volume of NaoH can be calculated using

\begin{gathered} V=(n)/(M) \\ \text{Where;} \\ V\text{ is the volume} \\ n\text{ is the number of mole of NaOH} \\ \text{M is the Molarity} \end{gathered}

But the number of mole of NaOH, n = mass of NaOH / Molar mass of NaOH

\Rightarrow n=\frac{26.0\text{ g}}{39.997\text{ g/mol}}=0.65\text{ mole}

Therefore, the volume of NaOH is

V=(0.65)/(1.3)=0.50\text{ L}
