We have the following:

The equation has the following form

y=mx+b

where m is the slope and b is y-intercept

The slope formula is as follows

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

The point are (-4, 8) and (6, -4)

replacing:

m=(-4-8)/(6-(-4))=(-12)/(10)=-(6)/(5)

In the graph we can see that the y-intercept is equal to 4, therefore, the equation would be

y=-(6)/(5)x+4
