Since the diameter of the mirror is given, calculate the area of the mirror using the formula

A=(1)/(4)\pi\cdot(D)^2

replace with the information given

\begin{gathered} A=(1)/(4)\pi\cdot24^2 \\ A=144\pi\approx452.39in^2 \end{gathered}

The mirror covers 452.39 square inches.
