#7) y = - x² + 4

Vertex:

∆=b²-4ac

S(-b/2a , -∆/4a) = (0/-2 , -16/-4) = (0,4)

Axis of symmetry:

x=-b/2a = 0

(we have max here because a is negative) Max:

Max (0,4)

#8) f(x) = x² -4x +4

Vertex:

S(-b/2a , -∆/4a) = (4/2 , 0/4) = (2,0)

Axis of symmetry:

x= -b/2a = 2

(Here it's min because a>0) Min:

Min(2,0)
