Given:

y=50x+122\ldots\text{ (1)}
y=1540-82x\ldots\text{ (2)}

The general equation is

y=mx+c

m is a slope and c is the y-intercept.

From equation (1),

\text{Slope = 50 and y intercept is 122}

From equation (2)

\text{Slope = -82 and yintercept is }1540

From equation (1) and (2)

Substitute equation (2) in (1)

1540-82x=50x+122
50x+82x=1540-122
132x=1418
x=(1418)/(132)
x=44

Substitute in (2)

undefined
