You have the next diagram:

R=10+5=15

B=5+8=13

R∩B=5

U=49+5+8+10=72

A) how many types of fruit are not red?

The number of fruits that are not reds is those that are outside of the set R: 57

\begin{gathered} R^(\prime)=U-R=72-15 \\ R^(\prime)=57 \end{gathered}B) how many types of fruit are berries?

The number of fruits that are berries is those that are in the set B: 13

B=13C) how many types of fruit are red berries

The number of fruits that are red berries is those that are in set R and in set B: 5

R\cap B=5D) how many types of fruit are not red and not berries

The number of fruits that are not red and not berries is those that are outside the sets R and outside the set B: 49

Data collected on types of fruit is given below.R = Red Fruit. B = Berries Given that-example-1
