To find the x-intercepts, equate the function with zero as follows:

\begin{gathered} f(x)=0 \\ -16x^2+25x+10=0 \\ x=\frac{-25\pm\sqrt[]{(25)^2-4*10*-16}}{2*-16} \\ x=\frac{-25\pm\sqrt[]{625+640}}{-32} \\ x=(-25\pm35.5668)/(-32) \\ x=-0.3302,1.8927 \end{gathered}

Hence the intercepts are -0.3302 and 1.8927

The intercepts are at points (-0.3302,0) and (1.8927,0)
