The length of a rectangle is eight more than twice it's width. If the length is less than 34,then what is the width?

width < 13

Explanation:

let width of the rectangle = x

length = 8 + 2x

according to the question,

8+2x < 34

2x < 34-8

2x < 26

x < 13
