What is x in this equation
2(x-7)=-4

Answer: 5

Step-by-step explanation: First I took away the 2 on the left which was multiplying the brackets. Then because I did this I had to do the opposite to the other side. -4÷2

Then I just filled in the gaps 5-7=-2

x = 5

2x - 14 = -4

2x = -10

x = 5
