Explanation:

First find out what is the price after 30% off.

250 · 0.3 = 75

250 - 75 = 175

Then find the tax and add it on. Remember to calculate the tax AFTER the discount.

175 · 0.06 = 10.50

175 + 10.50 = 185.50
