What is the rule for the pattern 1, 4, 7, 10,...?

B) Multiply by 4
C) Add 3

C add three 1+3=4

Explanation:

1+3=4

4+3=7

7+3=10

Wheras if you try to multiply by 4 it works on the first one, but 4×4=16 not 7. If you add 10 to 1 you get 11, which is not the next number. And if you subtract 1-3=-2, which is on the wrong side of 0.
