Given points are
(x_1,y_1) = (2,-5) and (x_2,y_2) = (4,3)

Now , using the formula of slope,m =
y_2-y_1/x_2-x_1

=> 3-(-5)/4-2

=> 8/2

=> 4

Hence the required slope of given two ordered pairs is 4

Answer:

Slope = 4

Explanation:

The slope of a line can be calculated using the following formula:

(y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

From the question can put the points as:

(2, -5) as (x1, y1)

and

(4, 3) as (x2, y2)

Therefore, we can put in the values into the formula to solve for the slope.

(3 - ( - 5))/(4 - 2) \\ = (3 + 5)/(2) \\ = (8)/(2) \\ = 4
