Answer:

6.32
cm^(2)

Explanation:

The area of a triangle is the base multiplied by the height, divided by 2. So take the base of 8 cm, then multiply by the height of 1.58 cm, and divide by 2.

(8*1.58)/(2) =6.32 cm^2

Answer:

Area = 632mm^2

Explanation:

Area of a triangle is

1/2 × base × height

OR

= (base × height)/2

There is a tiny trick tho' because the measurement is given in cm but they asked for the answer in mm. Well, there are 10 millimeters in a centimeter.

So the base given as 8cm is 80mm. And the height given 1.58cm is 15.8mm

Area = 1/2(80)(15.8)

= 40(15.8)

= 632 mm^2
