Point-slope form: y minus y 1 = m (x minus x 1).

Use the point-slope form of a line to write the equation of a line that has a slope of 2 and passes through the point (–4, 3). Write the equation in slope-intercept form.
Choose the equation of the line.

y = 2x + 11
y = –4x + 14
y = 3x +14
