Yes, they will still be equal because $1 is equal to 4 quarters so therefore they are just exchanging the same amount of money in different forms.

Yes, they will still be equal. 6 quarters is accumulated into $1.50 or with the addition of $1, 10 quarters. Therefore if Jane gives Jeremiah $1 or 4 quarters the values will stay equal.
