Answer: 960 m^2

First, I would split the figure into a triangle and a rectangle. The height of the whole figure is 25 and the rectangle's height is 15 and 25 - 15 = 10 so 10 must be the triangle's height. The base of the triangle is 48, so now I can calculate the area of the triangle. The area of a triangle is height times base times 1/2. When I add in the values the area of the triangle is 240.

Now I have to calculate the area of the rectangle. The height is 15 and the base is 48. The formula for the area of a rectangle is length times with. When I plug in the values the area is 720. The area of the triangle plus the area of the rectangle is 240 + 720 which equals 960.
