Initial velocity = 8 m/s

Final velocity = 23 m/s

Time for the velocity change = 3 s

By definition, the average acceleration is

(23 - 8)/3 = 5 m/s²

Answer: 5 m/s²

Hope this helps!! have a great rest of your day!
