Average rate of change = 0

Explanation:

f(z) = -2z^2 - 12z - 19

a = -4 and b = -2

[f(b) - f(a)] / (b-a)

[-2(-2)^2 - 12(-2) -19] - [-2(-4)^2-12(-4)-19] / (-2 -(-4))

(-8+24-19) - (-32+48-19) / 2

(-8+24-19+32-48+19) / 2 = 0/2
