The 1920's. Everybody was partying, the war was overn the future was bright, and it was good times all around. Women had a sense of rebellion. Jazz was becoming popular as well as dance competitions with it. Which, even due to the dance competitions, spiked the idea of other lasting forms of competitions. Prohibition was going on which led to the idea of speakeasies in big mansions and such where all these parties were happening. Jazz had brought the upbeat feel to the party. It made you want to get up and ahow waht you were made of. Jazz originated from primarily around Harlem New York with colored folks.
