Note:

Multiplication of a positive and negative number gives a negative number as the product.

+ve x -ve = +ve

Part A:

Devon's statement is always true

For example,

-12 x 11 = -132

-7 x 16 = -112

Part B:

Rule: Multiplication of a positive integer with a negative integer gives a negative integer as the result
