Hello,

The formula of triangle is 1/2 x b x h where b is base and h is height. We know from the diagram that base is 25 cm and height is 10 cm.

Substitute in the formula:

\displaystyle{A=(1)/(2)\cdot 25\cdot 10}\\\\\displaystyle{A=25 \cdot 5}\\\\\displaystyle{A=125 }

Therefore, the area is 125 cm². Please let me know if you have any questions!
