With everyone rightly looking forward to completing their courses, I would just like to repeat my request for you not to put photos of your certificates on the internet. Online swindlers can duplicate diploma and degree documents from pictures posted online, and we want to avoid making life easy for them.

To put you in the picture and emphasise the seriousness of the situation, the National Police Federation estimates that there’s been a 35 percent rise in forged educational documents in just the last 12 months. The most realistic, which can retail online for upwards of £300, are accurate enough to fool would-be employers and are considered such a hazard that we’re soon to incorporate within our own certificates features you might more commonly associate with banknotes.
